Jar - Mask

Wonderful decorative jar with lid in magnificent duotone glaze. Handmade by Harriet de Maar-Sielcken around 1989. The work is signed on the bottom with: "HARRIET DEMAAR". Harriet, also known as Jet, de Maar-Sielcken (1929-2015) was a Dutch ceramic artist born in Indonesia. From 1956 to 1958 she was part of the Experimental Department of the Porceleyne Fles in Delft. This authentic and unique, jaw-dropping gallery piece, will take a lead amongst your other interior design items.
